Our NSF approved Hydroxyl II is a fast acting, ecologically sustainable, stabilized peroxide product that provides greater oxidizing potential than Chlorine or Chlorine dioxide. Versatile, Hydroxyl II can be used for applications spanning both agriculture and industry and with its prolonged efficiency time, Hydroxyl II is highly effective in eliminating the presence of harmful biofilms and neutralizing harmful pathogenic entities.
Biodegradable and non-toxic – Hydroxyl II decomposes into simple water and oxygen. There are no lasting effects on water or soil quality and no harmful byproducts or coproducts left behind. This makes it ideal for livestock and agricultural applications, food production applications and environmentally sensitive applications where ethical environmental and water management plans are a concern.
Multifunctional- Hydroxyl II can be used in many applications: as a sanitizer for worksurface, tools and equipment, as a sanitizer for industry packaging (such as bottles), as a dust suppressant (such as in mines and barns), as a water treatment for wells and other water distribution systems, as a curative for diseased or sick crops and plants such as those afflicted by mildew, smut and rust and for chemigation to prevent against disease in healthy crops and plants.
Effective against disease – Hydroxyl II treats waterborne pathogens such as Pythium and Phytophthora), removes biofilms within water distribution networks, significantly reduces harmful pathogens such as Staph. aureus, E. coli, salmonellas achloropsias and listeria monocytopenia. It May also enhance the removal of organic material and endotoxins.
Easy to apply – Hydroxyl II is compatible with many materials and instruments and can be used within existing systems with limited retrofitting. It can also be applied through a number of different methods including dripline, pivot, fertigation, or foliar application.
Reduce need for traditional fumigants – Hydroxyl II targets anaerobic pathogens, biofilms, and Gram-negative organisms while preserving beneficial aerobic and facultative microbes like Bacillus and Mycorrhizae. This prevents or slows the recolonization of opportunistic pathogens thereby reducing the frequency requirement for fumigation.
Enhance soil – Hydroxyl II Increases soil ORP and oxygenates roots. This improves the plant’s root system and thereby its ability to absorb nutrients.
Better performing livestock – Livestock treated with Hydroxyl II perform better. Poultry have improved egg laying cycles, Dairy cattle have lower somatic cell counts, all livestock demonstrate higher conception rates (as much as 30%) and shorter birthing intervals (more success on first insemination) and all livestock have improved nutrient absorption rates.
Improve crop yields – Field tests have shown crops treated with Hydroxyl II generate bigger yields. Corn bushels increase 4-7% per acre, corn sileage increases by 2-3 tonnes per acre. Wheat bushels increase 7-10% per acre with a similar percentage increase per acre in straw harvest. Soybeans bushels increase 8-12% per acre with specialty beans demonstrating a 7-8% tonne per acre increase.
Reduce operational cost – Water systems treated with Hydroxyl II have cleaner pipes and less build up reducing the need for infrastructure maintenance, equipment lasts longer as Hydroxyl II is safe on metal surfaces and non-corrosive to stainless steel, livestock is healthier meaning less time and resources needed for animal care. In addition with regular use of Hydroxyl II, usage of traditional fertilizers is reduced as is the frequency for traditional fumigants.
